Home: Welcome

Specializing in fantasy and science fiction, AClarke Editorial supports authors through all stages of the editing process. Editing is a team effort. I work hand in hand with authors to ensure their stories make it onto the page so readers invest in the narrative and characters. This holds true from the big picture structural edit to the details of the copy edit to the final touches of the layout. I am here to help you fulfill your vision so you can achieve your writing goals, whether that is to create a self-publishing dynasty, simply see your name in print or find the perfect traditional publisher.

I work primarily with independent and self-published authors as well as first-time authors looking to pursue traditional publication. I have experience in independent publishing, small presses, formatting and eBook conversion.

While I primarily work on fantasy, science fiction and YA manuscripts, I love variety and am open to manuscripts from all genres. I have edited literary fiction, horror, mystery, self-help and non-fiction, and would love to add more genres to the list.

"It was an absolute pleasure working with Amanda. It was like having a mentor over my shoulder. It's so important to have someone who's experienced (and knows writing) to point out the good, the not so good, and to offer helpful suggestions. For a writer to improve, you need constructive criticism. I feel so much more confident in my writing after working with Amanda and look forward to tackling future projects."

"Amanda provided feedback for structural problems, word choice and overall cleanliness on several of my undergraduate papers. Amanda’s feedback not only helped with the papers she edited for me but also improved my writing overall. Amanda has always been pleasant and easy to work with and returns documents in a timely manner. I would highly recommend her."
